Oha~! This is my own personal page (created on a res of 800x600 - will still function on other resolutions, but it might not look very nice). :3

I'm an avid lover of video games and anime, as you can clearly see.

My favourite anime so far would have to be Saiyuuki, which has the longest running obsession. Other anime have managed to weasel their way into my heart, those being Harukanaru Toki no Naka de, DNAngel, and Full Metal Alchemist. I also like Saint Beast a lot, although it's not quite so famous for its anime (it's far more well-known as cd dramas). In fact, the background I'm using for my page is a insert which came with a cd drama.

I'm sorta picky when it comes to anime. The first thing I look for is its art quality. Of course, I take the date of when the anime was created into account. There's really no excuse for an anime created now to look like it was done in the 80s, in my opinion. However, something that was done in the 80s and looks good for its time, I'll still watch. The next thing I look for is an appealing storyline. This isn't too hard, as I'm fairly open-minded. ^^;

Manga. My favourite manga are Saiyuuki, Stigma, and Loveless. Favourite mangaka of course is Minekura Kazuya. Her homepage, NITRO, is located at http://www.minekura.com. Japanese only, but it's got some nice art in her gallery, and the wallpapers she's done for downloading are equally appealing. =^.^=

Of video games, my favourite genres would have to be strategy/rpgs, pure rpgs, and sometimes, action games. I must add that I like dating sims, to a certain extent. Favourite series would have to be Star Ocean, followed by the Tales series and the Xenoseries.

Out of that, I've been studying French for seven years, and Japanese for three. Strangely enough, my proficiency at Japanese is much higher than French. ^^; I'm also a grammar/spelling-nazi, you could say... I won't make excessive fuss over a few typos, but honestly... I "shouldn't need a decoder ring to figure out what [someone's] saying." That having been said, I immediately apoligize for any spelling errors that I've made. ^^; I'm confidant enough in my abilities to spell, so I don't use a word processor to pick out any errors beforehand. (That, and I don't actually have a word processor on my computer that supports spelling/grammar check. ^^; )

Just for interest's sake, I'm Chinese, but that doesn't mean much I suppose, as I can't read or write or speak any form of the chinese language (except for hainam, which is a dialect anyway, and not a common one at that). I only know a little bit of the characters, and that's only because I'm familiar with a bit of the japanese kanji. ^.^;
